UBV World, one of the leading Italian players in the logistics sector and specialized in international transport and shipping with a turnover of over 200 million euros, is evolving with a new visual identity developed by WEGO, a communication agency specialized in branding, digital advertising, and graphic and web design consultancy.
A renewed brand identity through which the UBV Group consolidates the company’s leadership, creates consistency among its various subsidiaries, introduces a new brand story, and highlights the evolution towards modernity.
And after the new logo, a new website will also arrive, completely redesigned, scheduled to launch in the coming months.
A new brand identity
A choice that reflects the corporate structure organized into three specialized business units, resulting from external growth, and that aims to unify all the realities belonging to the Group, strengthening its distinctive features and recognizability.
The new logo embodies the entire evolution of UBV as a company that wants to look to the future, built on clear values such as excellence, partnership, and the centrality of relationships.
The name remains unchanged, with a more contemporary typography, accompanied by a symbol where all Group companies converge under a single identity. A modern and distinctive pictogram, more recognizable, expressing UBV’s extensive operational capacity across the national territory and main international routes, while also reflecting the attitude to follow the customer in all phases of the process.
UBV is capable of transporting any type of cargo, regardless of weight or volume, not only in Italy but also beyond European borders, offering a personalized service across all major business segments.
The creative idea and the reasons behind the rebranding
The rebranding initiative took advantage of the logo change opportunity to explain both internally and externally the new dimension of UBV, starting from a positive company history, confirmed by a continuous growth path that saw the turnover increase by over 410% from 2010 to 2024, rising from 47 to 240 million euros.
The idea was to bring together in a single symbol the design of a road, representing land transport, the bow of a ship for maritime transport, and the wings of a plane for air transport, along with the three letters U. B. V.
A union further emphasized through the use of color, blending the brown of the earth, the turquoise of the sea, and the blue of the sky to tell the commercial areas.
“The rebranding initiative is part of a strategic growth path that allows us to present ourselves to the market with a renewed and coherent value proposition. We have been able to combine the solidity of our Italian entrepreneurial tradition with a vision focused on innovation and international expansion, always maintaining service excellence as our benchmark.” – declares Pietro Porro, CEO of UBV Group.
